It’s true, really. Many people who you meet and who don’t smile don’t do so because they are bad humored kind of people. They don’t smile because there is something going on in their lives which troubles them and which takes up all their energy. Don’t forget that you’re not the only one with problems and who is struggling.

So yes, give them a smile.  It might help them a lot. It might be the spark of light they need to get through the day. And honestly: how much trouble is it for you to smile?

Es verdad ¿sabes? Muchas personas con quien te encuentras y quien no sonríen no es porque son gente tan mal humorado. No sonríen porque hay algo pasando en sus vidas que les preocupa y que les quita toda la energía. No olvides que tú no eres el único con problemas y quien está luchando.

Así que, si, dales una sonrisa. Puede ayudarles muchísimo. Puede ser la chispa de luz que ellos necesitan para pasar por el día. Y sinceramente: ¿cuánto te cuesta dar una sonrisa?
